The most common way to drink ayahuasca is in a group ritual. On this page you will find the different styles of ayahuasca- or Daime rituals in the Netherlands and their contact details. This list is not complete, but it gives a good starting point for those who are willing to explore the world of ayahuasca.
Céu de Amsterdam
works with several powerful hybrid ritual forms, the therapy workshops with Daime. These transformational rituals are a well-balanced mixture of spiritual and musical elements of Santo Daime combined with bio-energetic and shamanic practices. Live music, energy-, body-, and breath-work, meditations and celebration are integral parts of this intense rituals. Be aware that in these Daime therapy workshops you are explicitly meant to work on yourself and not ‘just to lay back’.
These workshops are only with Daime tea and not with Santa Maria (cannabis) or other plant teachers.

Céu da Santa Maria
is a Santo Daime church in Avenhorn & Amsterdam. Céu da Santa Maria has the most full schedule of Daime rituals in the Netherland, more than once a week. This church is the biggest Daime-community in Holland with lots of foreign participants from, e.g. Germany, Belgium and of course Brasil. CdSM has also a strong connection with the use of Santa Maria in the works.
The rituals are most of the time filled with singing and some rituals also with dancing. These typical Daime rituals are, e.g. Cura (healing), Concentracão (meditation) and hinario’s (dance & celebration).
The church became legal in 2001 after an intensive court case.
